Lutz Huelle new creative director
Paris-based German designer Lutz Huelle has been appointed as the new creative director of our prêt-à-couture brand.
A graduate of Central Saint Martin’s College, Huelle worked at Martin Margiela before launching his own fashion brand in 2000. The designer will combine his new role as creative director of Delpozo with his current job. Huelle has acted as a consultant for several brands, including Max Mara and Brioni; and has won the prestigious ANDAM award twice.
The designer will stay true to the values that have become synonymous with what Delpozo represents, while expanding the brand’s daywear range to create a complete wardrobe.
Lutz Huelle says of his new role: “I have always loved Delpozo because of its unique style and positioning and I am proud and excited to be part of this new chapter in the brand’s history”.
Pedro Trolez, Chairman and owner of Delpozo, remarks: “I am very happy with Lutz as the new creative director of Delpozo and about this new chapter for the brand. He has a lot of experience in the industry and great deal of energy. He will be key to the brand’s success and I am looking forward to seeing his first collection”.
Huelle will oversee the Autumn/Winter 2019 collection which will be presented during Fashion Week in London. Huelle’s first collection incorporating his complete vision for the brand will be for the Spring/Summer 2020 season.
